So I have gotten the opportunity to travel A LOT this last month for events and all the holidays. Within the last month, I think I actually spent more time outside of my home city than I did actually in it, which is very rare for me. Towards the end, I began to feel the distance and stress that comes with traveling that much and have a new found respect for rock stars. I got the opportunity to go to St. Louis, Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, etc… But the most enjoyable place I visited this year, and my all-time favorite city, was New York. I have been there maybe a dozen times, and it never seems to get old on how much I love that city. This was my second time visiting NYC in 2012, and I have learned my way around there like a local and like always, found my new favorite spots to eat and drink. I came across a short film that does a great job portraying what the looks, feelings, and sounds are like of being in New York City. This video does show a majority of the more popular “tourist” spots, but if you haven’t ever been there, they are still attractions worth visiting. So enjoy my little promo of what I consider to be the greatest city in the world, and my second home.
